Cosmopolis

In my reading of the book and watching the movie I got the sense of incredibly strong privledge from the lifestyles demonstrated. We see the viewpoint of a man with so much money that he can afford a casual ride in a limo, something normal people can only do for a highly important occasion. We witness his carelessness of other people and how he has an incorrect sense of self importance due to his high wealth. I personally have seen this in real life from time to time and see the utter annoyance it can set on a person. Throughout his journey to simply get a haircut, we see the annoying, the infuriating, and the truth. Ending with his humble background of course, we see he's lived his life from each side of the glass, not that it makes his privilege anymore understandable.
